For Quality One to One Pay as You Go Driving Instructor Training

Why Choose Teach-2-Drive?

Why Teach-2-Drive

Pay as You Go
Unlike a lot of instructor training companies, we operate a pay as you go training scheme so if you decide driving instruction isn't for you then you haven't
potentially lost lots of money.

One to one Training
Some of the larger instructor training colleges do two to one training. For some people, two to one training can be good, however, their is the risk that you can be paired up with a trainee who is at a different level or has different requirements. We personally think that one to one is better as the trainee gets undivided attention and isn't under as much pressure when they are struggling.

Same Trainer
You will have the same trainer so you will both know how you are progressing and where you need help. with some of the larger organisations you may not always have the same trainer which can result in the trainee getting confused.

Experienced Trainer
Our trainer is highly qualified with over 25 years experience in driver and instructor training. Some organisations use inexperienced instructors to deliver the training many of whom have only just qualified themselves.

Flexible Training
We appreciate that when embarking on a totally new career where you have to have thorough training and take exams then training has to be flexible. Therefore, every training programme is designed around your needs. Each session will be booked around you and your home and work commitments

An Initial Meeting
If you are interested, we will meet you to discuss in detail about being a driving instructor. We will talk about the legal requirements and the training. It is not a sales presentation but an opportunity for you to ask as many questions as you wish. There is no contract to sign and we are not looking for any commitment. Help and support all the wayHelp and advice is always available

Training Locations
Depending on the duration of the training, will depend upon where the training will be carried out. If you only require 2 hours then the training is usually carried out either in the York or Leeds area. However, if you require half a day or a full day then we can meet you at a mutually convenient place. If you are from outside the Yorkshire area and need hotel accommodation, this can be arranged at an extra cost.

Career Advice
We can give you advice on starting up your own driving school, sales, marketing and customer care. If you are not wanting to run your own driving school there are other options such as operating a franchise. Again, advice is available as in what to look for in a franchise. As in anything there are always pros and cons.

Please note
We charge for training only. Examination fees are extra. Use of the car for the ADI part 2 and 3 practical tests are subject to conditions.

WARNING

A lot of driving instructor training companies want big up front payments prior to training with no chance of you getting a refund if you decide after a few sessions that driving instruction is not going to be the career for you. So buyer beware!
