For Quality One to One Pay as You Go Driving Instructor Training

Why Become a Driving Instructor?

100% job satisfaction

How did you feel when you past your driving test? Most of us can remember being on a high. As a driving instructor you will also feel that high and when that pupil passes as it is your knowledge, hard work and support that has helped. Also, you will get satisfaction in watching that pupil with zero self confidence gaining confidence and progressing in their lessons.

Job security
At present the job market is looking bleak, companies are making people redundant so now would be a good time to make the career change that you have been considering. By becoming a driving instructor, you can secure your future and be your own boss.

Flexible working
The beauty of being a self employed driving instructor is that you can work around your family and any other commitments. If you want to take a couple of hours off to go to the gym or take a day off in the middle of the week then you can as you have no one to answer to. The great thing about being a self employed driving instructor is that you have the flexibility that allows you to take a holiday whenever you want. No more trying to get time off work! TOTAL FREEDOM

Growing demand for driving instructors
With driving tests getting tougher, more people are learning to drive with a driving instructor. The latest figures suggest that people have on average around 45 hours with a driving instructor before taking their driving test. In the future, it could become mandatory that people will have to learn with a driving instructor. If that happens then driving instructors are going to be in very high demand.

Good earning potentials
We've all seen those adverts. "EARN £30,000.00 PLUS COMPANY CAR". Whilst it is possible, if you want a family and social life, a figure of between £8000.00 to £24,000.00 is more realistic. These figures would be based on a 20 to 30 hour week and would also depend on where in the country you operate and what the average going rate for lessons are. If you're looking to get rich quick it's probably not going to happen in driver training as it will take time to build up your business and a good reputation.

Obviously the amount you earn depends on where you live and how much work you do. You could consider gaining more qualifications after you qualify such as becoming fleet registered or gaining specialist qualifications and, hopefully, along with a high check test grade you can earn more. You could consider working abroad such as in the Middle East where, if you have the right skills, can pay around £800.00 plus per week. You may find an area of training that you wish to specialise in such as advanced driving, minibus training, teaching disabled people, 4X4 driving. The list is endless.

Brand new car every year
Some instructors nowadays get their cars on contract hire as the running costs can work out less expensive than buying. All servicing and maintenance costs
are usually met by the contract hire firms and if the car is off the road for any length of time then a spare car is normally available. Having a brand new car is
also good for the image and your peace of mind.
