Why Choose Teach-2-Drive?

Initial Meeting
I will invite you meet me where I will discuss in detail about being a driving instructor the legal requirements and the training. It is not a sales presentation and
you can ask as many questions as you wish. There is no contract to sign and I am not looking for any commitment.

Help and support all the way
If at any time during training, you are struggling or you wish to ask a question or advice then help is at hand.

Training locations
Depending on the duration of the training, will depend upon where the training will be carried out. If you only require 2 hours then the training is usually carried
out either in the York or Leeds area. However if you require half a day or a full day then we can meet you at a mutually convenient place. If you are from outside
the Yorkshire area and need hotel accommodation, then this can be arranged at an extra cost.

I offer:
Experienced trainer
I am a top grade 6 with over 20 years experience in instructor training and advanced driver training.

Flexible training
I appreciate that when embarking on a totally new career where you have to have thorough training and take exams then training has to be flexible. Therefore
every training programme is designed around you. Each session will be booked around you and your home and work commitments

One to one training
Some of the larger instructor training colleges do two to one training. For some people two to one training can be good in that trainees can learn from each
other and be involved in providing feed back, however, this can only work if the two trainees work well together. I personally do one to one training as this
reduces the pressure on the trainee.

Same trainer
You will have the same trainer so you will both know how you are progressing and where you need help.

Career advice
I will you give you advice on starting up your own driving school and how to promote yourself. If you are not wanting to run your own driving school there are other
options such as operating a franchise. Again I will give advice in what to look for in a franchise. As in anything there are always pros and cons.

Pay as you go driving instructor training
I operate a pay as you go training scheme so if you decide driving instruction isn't for you then you haven't potentially lost lots of money. A lot of driving instructor
training companies want big up front payments prior to training with no chance of you getting a refund if you decide after a few sessions that driving instruction
is not going to be the career for you. So buyer beware!
